About Rory:
Rory arrived in Tasmania from the UK in his youth. From public service, to restauranter, Rory followed into fishing then aquaculture.
He has held various roles from EO to Manager and CEO in the organisation that has been the Fishing Industry Training Board, then Seafood Training Tasmania and ultimately Seafood and Maritime Training.
At his retirement earlier in 2020, the organisation has 10 full time staff and 20 casual staff and was the dominant provider of training for the Tasmanian Seafood Industry.
