Tip of the week
Leadership is a collective practice. It is not done in isolation. Though it can be done throughout isolation, as during the COVID 19 lockdown. Tongue in cheek. Leadership happens with others, through others, and for others.
Why then get stuck feeling you are alone? All leaders need a posse. It's here we can test our perspective. It's here we can grind away rough edges with tough love feedback from supportive peers. It's here we can express our feelings without judgment to show up real and be renewed. If we are to master people stuff, we need people.
Our posse people. So, how do you find such a posse pod? Create your own pod. Reach out to leaders you admire in your industry and out, and suggest a get together, to share challenges, to recommend resources, and even just to catch up and have a yarn.
