If we are to experiment and try new things, we need to ensure we have the four stages of psychological safety covered, according to author Timothy R. Clark in his book, The Four Stages of Psychological Safety:
Inclusion safety
Learner safety
Contributor safety
Challenger safety

Wanting more, doing more, accomplishing more is part of the Achiever Disease. It drives us to work harder, longer.
We need to define how much is ENOUGH: enough money, enough accolades, enough achievement.

A leadership skill we need to develop
We need to run thought experiments as leaders.
Consider ‘what kind of world are we facing?” Imagine the current trends extending - things like a hotter planet, rising sea levels, increased competition for land use - and then ask, how might we live and lead in this world?
This is why reading science fiction is so helpful: it takes these ideas and explores them with us.
