Great Mondays: How to Design a Company Culture Employees Love - by Josh Levine
A wonderful practical tool for planning and managing culture. I did a great interview with him too on the podcast.
The Intelligence Trap - Why smart people make dumb mistakes by David Robson
I LOVED this book! It is jam packed with interesting stories and facts about how our brains get things so wrong. Science writer Robson showcases some awesome biases, along with strategies to mitigate the traps. I did a great interview with him too here.
This was right up my alley! A deep dive into how to make people feel welcome, wanted and valued. An excellent culture insight book. And yes, I got to interview him too here.
Can’t Hurt Me - Master Your Mind and Defy the Odds by David Goggins
I love a good bad ass Navy SEAL story. This guy is NEXT LEVEL! Coggins shares his horrendous origin story of abuse and how he overcame his poor situation to become an ultra fit elite Navy SEAL and long distance athlete. So much useful insights about human potential, and craziness.
Think by Matt Church and Peter Cook
The ‘Pink Sheet Process’ has been instrumental in helping me unpack ideas and generate useful insights for my leadership programs and clients. I encourage leaders everywhere who want to communicate better, think more deeply, to learn this process.
Got any book recommendations? I would love to hear them! It will feed my book addiction and keep Kindle in business.
